چکیده | ||
اشتغال اغلب مقولهای فراتر از ابزاری جهت امرار معاش بوده و از دست دادن شغل ممکن است یکی از استرسزاترین تجربیات زندگی باشد. این پدیده، جدا از مشکلات مالی که ایجاد مینماید، ممکن است بر سلامت افراد تاثیر بگذارد. این مطالعه به بررسی تأثیر بیکاری بر سلامت طی دوره زمانی 2021-2000 در کشورهای خاورمیانه و شمال آفریقا با استفاده از رویکرد اقتصاد سنجی پانل کوانتایل میپردازد. جهت شاخص سلامت؛ از دو متغیر امید به زندگی و نرخ مرگ و میر زیر پنج سال استفاده گردیده است. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است که در تمامی چندکهای 25/0، 50/0، 75/0 و 95/0، بیکاری بر امید به زندگی ، تأثیر منفی و معنیداری داشته است در حالی که بیکاری بر نرخ مرگ و میر تأثیر مثبت و معنی داری داشته است. از متغیرهای کنترلی تولید ناخالص داخلی سرانه، تجارت و هزینههای جاری سلامت نیز استفاده شده است و هر سه متغیر، تأثیر مثبت و معنیداری بر امید به زندگی و تأثیر منفی و معنی داری بر نرخ مرگ و میر داشته است. تایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است که در تمامی چندکهای 25/0، 50/0، 75/0 و 95/0، بیکاری بر امید به زندگی ، تأثیر منفی و معنیداری داشته است در حالی که بیکاری بر نرخ مرگ و میر تأثیر مثبت و معنی داری داشته است. از متغیرهای کنترلی تولید ناخالص داخلی سرانه، تجارت و هزینههای جاری سلامت نیز استفاده شده است و هر سه متغیر، تأثیر مثبت و معنیداری بر امید به زندگی و تأثیر منفی و معنی داری بر نرخ مرگ و میر داشته است. | ||
