برهان حفره، بعد از مقاله ارمن و نورتن(1987) به یکی از مباحث اصلی در فلسفه فضا-زمان تبدیل شده است که بر اساس آن نوع خاصی از جوهرگرایی (جوهرگرایی خمینهای) قابل دفاع نخواهد بود؛ زیرا، به ناموجبیت رادیکال منجر میشود. در این مقاله، میکوشیم نشان دهیم اولا، نامگذاری جوهرگرایی خمینهای مناسب نیست؛ چون، همانطور که برخی از فلاسفه گفتهاند، نقاط خمینه را نمیتوان واجد این همانی مستقل دانست. ثانیا، میتوان با تعهد واقعگرایی ساختاری وجودی تلقی مناسبی از جوهرگرایی خمینهای ارائه کرد که بر اساس برهان حفره به ناموجبیت رادیکال منجر نمیشود؛ در نتیجه، برهان حفره در مورد آن کارگر نمیافتد. | ||
