| The study investigates heat transfer and flow structure of (Cu − Al2O3/Poly-alpha-olefin oil) hybrid nanofluid over a porous stretching cylinder considering variable viscosity (µshnf(T)) and thermal conductivity (kshnf(T)) with partial slip. We apply similarity transformations to reduce governing PDEs into nonlinear ODEs and solve it using MATLAB’s BVP4C solver. The variation of several physical parameters on velocity, temperature, heat transfer rate and skin friction are discussed through graphs and tables. The velocity and temperature profile decreases with increment into partial slip and viscosity parameter. The heat transfer rate increases with increment into partial slip, viscosity and thermal conductivity parameters. The heat transfer enhancement is 9.29% for nanoparticles concentration (Cu : Al2O3- 2% : 1%) and 9.26% for nanoparticles concentration (Cu : Al2O3- 1% : 2%) in hybrid nanofluid, and higher with increase concentration of Cu nanoparticles compared to Al2O3 nanoparticles into hybrid nanofluid. The novel part of this study is to investigates heat transfer of MHD hybrid nanofluid (Cu−Al2O3/PAO oil) through a stretching cylinder with partial slip using variable viscosity and thermal conductivity. | ||
